I am a Christian wife and homeschooling mother. I will post family friendly articles... the subjects will include family, children, photos, tea, gardening, homeschooling, recipes, thought-provoking ideas, nature.... and more.
The sunrise was beautiful this morning - so many colors and they changed quickly.
Amazingly, all of these pictures are from the same sunrise - at different times and from different views. The last picture above shows what looks like brilliant fall colored trees, but it was the bright reddish sunrise that colored those old dead looking oak trees that way. What a treat! :)
"The heavens declare the glory of God ; and the firmament showeth his handywork." Psalm 19:1
I love country roads....they are so beautiful and relaxing.
The country roads seem to invite me to keep going to see what is up over that hill, or around the corner. My husband has somewhat reluctantly gone down roads that the kids or I suggest we drive down, so that we could see, "What's up there a little farther?"
The funny thing is that now sometimes, HE is the one who suggests that we go "just a little farther" when we get the chance to be in the country, which is nice because it is not often that we are able to drive the country roads. There is just something about being together, listening to good Christian music or talking, and of course, snacking :), while we look at the beautiful scenery.
Ok, I realize that this last picture is not a country "road", but it is definitely country and it is pretty. :)
That's it for the country roads for now. As you can tell, these pictures were all taken in the fall....I will have to get more in the spring. I hope you get the chance to enjoy country roads.
I love country scenes...........no, I am not Amish. Life tends to stay so busy all of the time...and I enjoy scenes that show a slower and quieter lifestyle.
Even in the time of the year where leaves are off of the trees....there is a beauty and peacefulness......
Love the tree against the blue sky.
It's fun to catch a glimpse of deer in the field.....
This house is certainly not structurally sound anymore and will probably fall down soon, but I think it is interesting anyway. I enjoy seeing these old houses and wonder about how old they are, who lived there, and more.
Animals, rivers, fields, trees, buildings and so much more.
So many things to look at in the country............and the beauty changes as the seasons change.
I live in the city, but my heart is in the country......and it is restful and very interesting for me to drive through the country and enjoy the scenery.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Snow can be beautiful.... and individual snowflakes are intricate and lovely.
Today was a perfect day for taking pictures of snowflakes - we put a cookie sheet out on the deck and I kept taking pictures. I love all of the variety of the snowflakes - such creativity that God displays in this way.
