My daughter wanted to make a Valentine for a friend, so we tried out an idea I had seen online. I helped her make it and we were both pleased with how it turned out. It is a project that was easy enough for a child, but nice enough that adults could make good use of it too.
My daughter had fun punching out the butterflies and bending them in half........she was also able to glue most of them, with a bit of help on some.
The repeating design is pleasing and easy...............There are so many variations that could be made..........so many possibilities. We used regular paper, not construction paper, although that could also be used. I like the quality of regular paper better which is why we chose that.
We made this a couple of years ago and have plans to try again, with some variations. Now that she is 2 years older, I think she will have more ideas of her own and how to make a pretty Valentine. I look forward to working on such a project with my kids this week.
This Valentine's Day, please remember that God's love is the greatest love. :)
Thank you for looking at my blog.........have a great day. :)
