It had to do with a football game and other things in the movie... and also a commitment to trusting God.... no matter what.
When things are going the way we want them to.... it is easy to praise Him.... although it is also easy to forget that part.
When things are not going well, we tend to want to demand our own way... and it is harder to praise Him.
Since He is God.... and knows ALL things... We need to ALWAYS praise Him.... whether we understand... or not.
So....... we need to praise Him.... whether we "win" or "lose" in whatever way that fits in our own life. So, whatever is going on in your life - whether good or bad, I hope you are able to praise Him.... and trust Him. I am determined to do that. Thank you for visiting today. It was so nice to have you here and I hope you have a wonderful day. :)

Good reminder. It's easy to forget when we let our flesh run away with us. Back in my early coaching days I prayed for safety and for a win. In time God added some wisdom and I prayed to "Win, lose, or draw, may we honor You, Father.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!
It is easy to allow our flesh to lead us... SO easy... and so good to determine to honor Him no matter what... thank you for visiting and for your wonderful comment.
DeleteLovely photos and the thoughts are perfect. Thank you for sharing with us here at “Tell Me a Story.” At: http://letmetelluastory.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThank you and thank you for the link up. :)
DeleteWhat a great quote, I've never heard that before. Such a great reminder for us. I know I often need to be prompted that God’s goodness isn't based on how good or bad my day is, we should give thanks in all circumstances. Thank you for sharing and for your beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you visited... the movie, "Facing The Giants" is a wonderful movie... and I don't even LIKE football! :) I love how they made this point so vividly in the movie.
DeleteThis is a great quote: good for football and equally good for chronic illness. I should post this somewhere at my house! Thanks for sharing this post at Together on Tuesdays :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it is something that can apply to all of us... I'm so sorry about your illness.
DeleteI needed to hear this today. Thank you
ReplyDeleteGod is so timely! Thank you for visiting.... hope things get better for you.
DeleteYes, always praising!
ReplyDeleteThat's true! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you will remember this one... I love a good quote... and as I have shared this one again... God has used it in my life again also. :)
DeleteThat's a good quote to remember!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is.... and I realized I needed it again this week, so I am appreciating it anew. :)
DeleteLove this! Great reminder!! Thanks for linking up to Tuesday Talk :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a good one... it is so easy to justify a bad attitude when things don't work out as we want them to, but I like the reminder to praise Him.... no matter what.
DeleteIt's not always easy, but trust we must. God has our back!
ReplyDeleteSo true... and trusting gets a little easier the more we do it... I think it must be like a muscle... it needs to be used to grow. :)
DeleteGreat quote, which I haven't heard of before! Love you images. Those would make great magnets, having it close to you, to look at often. That's what I've done with a few of mine and I love it. Thanks for sharing this with us. Visiting you from Intentional at Home Thursday
ReplyDeleteGood idea on the magnets! I haven't done that with these, but it would be a fun project. :) Thank you for visiting.
