Sledding and Flowers-Almost Spring!

Last Sunday we went sledding.... this Sunday I have 5 purple crocus blossoms OPEN! Yeah! I love spring. :)  I know it isn't actually spring quite yet, but it sure feels like it... it was 70 degrees today!  Earlier in the week, it was quite a bit below freezing. It will go back and forth for a bit... but with some flowers blooming... I am excited. :)

We hadn't been sledding this year yet... the little bits of snow we had came at a time when we couldn't go sledding.... so this time we went... even though you can see that we didn't have much snow.

It is obvious that we really had fun...

The kids sure outlasted my husband and me... they went up and down so many times.... it was great. :)

As much fun as we had sledding, I am even more excited about these flowers...

I love their colorful freshness.... their cheerful looks.

I have many more crocus that will bloom... but these are the first, so they are extra special.

We have also seen a couple of bees...

and the geese are flying north again... the robins are all over the place... the temperatures are getting higher, although still cold at night... it is an exciting time of year.

I enjoy each of our 4 seasons... I love them all... but I have to admit that spring is probably my favorite because that is when the garden wakes up again after a long winter.

Thank you for joining me... I hope you are seeing spring in your area also... what signs of spring are you seeing?

    1. I do too... in fact, I just came in from outside where I took more pictures of them.... I couldn't resist the water droplets on them from my son watering the yard. :)

  7. I must admit that I'm rather jealous and sure do miss being a part of the Four Seasons after seeing your beautiful pictures. My hubby and I were just complaining that it is already too HOT here in the Phx area. Another month and I'll be wishing I was anywhere but here!

Thank you for linking up to Party Under the Big Top, the #BigTopBlogParty! So happy you were able to join in on the fun this week!

    Wishing you a fabulous week!

    Much love,

    1. Wow... your climate is REALLY different from ours... I hear people who love the AZ weather, but I would miss our 4 seasons if we didn't have them. :)

  9. What beautiful flowers and what a beautiful way for God to say spring is coming. The sledding looks like great fun, my only issue is once you go down you have to come back up again, great exercise. Thanks for sharing part of your life with us at Good Morning Mondays. Blessings
