A Very Cold and Very Blustery Day..........

Cold and Snow - on a blustery, terribly cold day.............

 The snow was blowing and drifting - there were so many lovely patterns and shapes created and I captured a few.................

Drifts in seemingly random patterns and places - such a treat to see them.......

  I loved this drift - it was hanging over without support under it...............and the layers of snow show up very well...........

 Some child's snowman - the drifts surrounded it making it look protected........

By the time we were headed back up these stairs, we were hurting from the cold - even after only about 10 minutes or less - the wind was so cold and painful on our uncovered faces..........

 This is the sun - a very cold looking winter sun -we didn't feel any warmth from it on this day.

  This dog was standing as a sentinel way up on a hill - out in the cold and blowing snow.....just watching.............

 Now, I like garage sales, but this is ridiculous............obviously an old sign, even though it isn't faded................

Not many people out........

Nice to see the scenery - we have been cooped up for a while and it was fun to be out.....but it was also great to get home to our nice warm house..............

Old barn back in the woods - we sure enjoyed the scenery.........

Thanks for looking at our record of that blustery trip.......now that I am back in a nice warm house, I wonder why I didn't take more pictures and I wish I would have, but it really was a day to only be out for a short time. Join me again for other pictures.................
