Old Barns in the Country......................

Here are some more pictures from our day trip in the country. These are the old barns that we saw..................

There is something about old barns..........

Even in such a deteriorated state, there is something wonderful about old barns.....

Many many different styles of barns exist.....some empty and some still in use.

This barn probably won't be standing for too many more years...........

I like the open window on the left side of this barn.............

I remember seeing lots of barns that had advertisements painted on the sides, when I was a kid, but I didn't see any of those on this day trip.

Such a variety of barns.......
Old barns are a wonderful part of the country scenery and I really enjoy looking at them.  I hope that you did also. Thank you for looking at these.........

  1. I love old barns! When we bought our property years ago it held a very tattered 1880's barn but it really spoke to my heart. RancherMan agreed to have the exterior of the barn refurbished while leaving the interior intact. It's a vital part of our ranching operation today. Love it! Love this post and all the photos, thanks for sharing. (visiting from Growing Homemakers Hop)
